Job summary

Benchling is seeking a Revenue Manager to own key areas of revenue accounting and Order to Cash in a high-growth SaaS environment. This hands-on role requires deep technical ownership of deferred revenue, contract assets, and related analyses.

You will drive end-to-end processes, shape revenue recognition for consumption-based products and AI partnerships, and partner across Finance, Sales, and Services. Based in San Francisco, you will report to the Head of Revenue Accounting with no direct

Qualifications

BS/BA in Accounting with GAAP/GL knowledge; CPA preferred.
7+ years revenue accounting in SaaS with ASC 606 experience.
Experience with SOX-compliant processes and automation.
Experience with high-growth SaaS including subscriptions and professional services.
Proficiency with NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management; Excel and data skills; Salesforce CPQ familiarity.

Responsibilities

Own the deferred revenue process end to end including schedules and rollforwards.
Own the allowance for credit losses methodology and audits.
Perform contract modification analyses under ASC 606.
Lead AI and usage-based product revenue initiatives and tracking.
Prepare quarterly close materials and present results.
