Job summary

Ascensus seeks a seasoned Relationship Manager to serve as the primary contact for big and elite advisor plan clients and their financial advisors. You will deliver consultative support, drive plan retention, and coordinate with internal Ascensus teams to ensure a seamless client experience.

The role emphasizes developing strong relationships with senior contacts, identifying growth opportunities, and managing complex accounts across retirement services. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in retirement services industry or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ direct client/ client-equivalent relationships within a financial services administrative environment.
• Certification or working towards certification (ASPPA, CEBS, etc.) preferred.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a cohesive team environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; group presentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as focal point for existing big and elite advisor plan clients and their financial advisors.
• Provide consultative advice and support to ensure execution of coordinated strategies to support plan clients and their financial professionals.
• Promote plan retention and cross-sell revenue opportunities with financial professionals.
• Coordinate with internal Ascensus departments to address client needs and resolve issues.
• Review existing book of business to identify retention opportunities and develop education/communication strategies for leaders.
• Travel as required to meet clients and attend meetings.
