Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking a Retirement Senior Manager to build depth, structure, and strategic leadership for the firm’s retirement programs, including 401(k) and profit-sharing. You will own strategy, governance, compliance, and participant experience, modernize processes, leverage data and Workday integration, and guide a retirement team across HR, Payroll, Finance and vendors.

This role partners with senior leadership to ensure programs are competitive, compliant, scalable, and aligned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
8+ years of relevant experience in retirement plan administration, governance, and operations.
Hands-on experience managing defined contribution retirement plans, including 401(k) administration, compliance testing, plan audits, fiduciary governance, vendor management, participant communications, and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy, design, governance, and administration for 401(k) and profit-sharing programs.
Oversee census testing, Form 5500 filings, audits, notices, regulatory updates, and correction processes.
Own annual profit-sharing calculations and allocations in coordination with Finance, vendors, and auditors.
Serve as primary technical contact for plan providers, consultants, and plan auditors; manage deliverables.
