Job summary

Forvis Mazars US is seeking a Retirement Senior Manager to lead strategy, governance, and administration of the firm’s retirement programs, including 401(k) and profit-sharing. This role will serve as the technical subject matter expert on plan design, fiduciary oversight, regulatory compliance, and participant experience.

The Senior Manager will collaborate with Finance, HRIS, Payroll, Total Rewards, and vendors to ensure accurate data, compliant processes, and scalable operations, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in retirement plan administration, governance, and operations.
• Hands-on experience managing defined contribution retirement plans (e.g., 401(k)) with compliance testing and participant communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, design, governance, and administration for 401(k) and profit-sharing programs.
• Oversee plan compliance: census, nondiscrimination testing, Form 5500 filings, audits.
• Own annual profit-sharing calculation and allocation with Finance, vendors, and auditors.
• Serve as technical contact for recordkeepers, advisors, counsel, consultants, and auditors.
• Advance fiduciary governance with committee materials and documentation.
