Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking a Retirement Senior Manager to own strategy, governance, and administration of the firm’s retirement programs, including 401(k) and profit-sharing. This role acts as the technical SME for plan design, fiduciary oversight, and participant experience.

You will lead governance, benchmarking, and integration with HRIS/Workday, partnering with Finance, vendors, and auditors to ensure compliant, scalable retirement operations across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in retirement plan administration, governance, and operations.
• Hands-on experience managing defined contribution retirement plans, including 401(k) administration, compliance testing, plan audits, fiduciary governance, vendor management, participant communications, and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, design, governance, and administration for 401(k) and profit-sharing programs.
• Oversee retirement plan compliance, including census testing, Form 5500 filings, audits, and correction processes.
• Own the annual profit-sharing calculation and allocation process with Finance, vendors, and auditors.
• Serve as primary technical contact for recordkeepers, advisors, legal counsel, and plan auditors.
• Advance fiduciary governance with committee materials and documented decisions.
