Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Senior Retirement Specialist to drive sales, educate plan participants and deliver service for retirement plans across the United States. Travel within the assigned territory is required, and some work from home may be needed.

You will develop relationships with department heads, lead seminars, mentor Retirement Specialists, and collaborate with the Program Director to expand Nationwide Retirement Plans. FINRA licenses and three years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Three years of related experience in financial, sales or educational services functions.
• Knowledge of defined contribution retirement savings plans.
• Excellent sales, communication and presentation skills; ability to manage a territory.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and conducts seminars for participants within an assigned territory.
• Assists/supports the Program Director in territory planning and team development.
• Provides counseling on defined contribution retirement savings plans to drive sales growth.
• Develops relationships with key contacts at the department head level to expand plan services.
• Leads training on new presentations, product information and policy changes.
• Acts as a team lead for Retirement Specialists and addresses inquiries.
