Job summary

Nationwide Financial in the United States seeks a Senior Retirement Specialist to drive sales, offer retirement education, and deliver superior service for plan participants. You will develop and retain relationships, identify prospects for small cases, and work with cross-functional teams to enhance plan engagements.

You will lead seminars, support the Program Director, and counsel participants on defined contribution options to grow the book of business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, insurance, business, marketing preferred.
• FINRA Series 6 license and life and health licenses required; series 63 and 65 may be necessary.
• Three years of related experience in financial, sales or educational services functions.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and conducts seminars for participants within an assigned territory.
• Support Program Director in territory planning and development activities.
• Provide counseling on defined contribution retirement plans to drive sales growth.
• Develop relationships with key contacts to expand products and services within plans.
• Lead and train Retirement Specialists; act as a point of contact for inquiries.
