Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Senior Retirement Specialist to drive sales, educate plan participants, and deliver top-tier service within an assigned territory. You will build and retain relationships with participants, provide retirement education, identify prospects, and acquire new small cases.

Ideal candidates have FINRA licenses, life/health licenses, and 3 years of related experience in financial services or education. Travel within the territory is required and a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• FINRA Series 6, 63, and 65 or Series 7 & Series 66
• Life & Health license required.
• Three years of related experience in financial, sales or educational services functions.
• Knowledge of defined contribution retirement savings plans and financial products/services.
• Excellent sales, communication and presentation skills required.
• Ability to navigate political and economic landscapes to achieve business results.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and conducts seminars for potential and existing participants in an assigned territory.
• Assist Program Director in territory planning and team development.
• Provide counseling on defined contribution retirement savings plans to drive sales growth.
• Develop relationships with key contacts at department head level to expand services.
• Lead a team of Retirement Specialists and troubleshoot inquiries.
• Lead projects related to marketing, enrollment and administrative processes.
