Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company seeks a Senior Retirement Specialist to drive sales, educate participants, and deliver service for plan participants. You will develop, manage and retain relationships with participants and conduct retirement education interactions.

You will identify prospects and acquire new small cases. Regularly collaborates with Program Director and leads seminars; requires FINRA Series 6 and life/health licenses as well as potential Series 63/65.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies in related field, insurance, business, marketing preferred.
• Strong sales, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop and retain relationships with plan participants.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and conducts seminars for participants within assigned territory.
• Support Program Director in territory planning and team development.
• Provide counseling on defined contribution retirement plans to drive sales.
• Develop relationships with key contacts to expand plan products/services.
• Lead special projects related to marketing, enrollment, and processes.
• Collaborate with home office teams to resolve customer issues.
