Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Loan Consulting Manager within Plan Administration & Implementation to lead complex retirement plan tasks on-site in Austin, TX. You will consult with plan sponsors on IRC 72(p) compliance, coordinate with HRIS systems, and guide cross-functional teams to timely resolutions.

The role emphasizes independent problem solving, process improvements, and partnership with internal stakeholders. A strong customer-first mindset and proactive leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of qualified retirement plan administration experience; ASPPA designation preferred.
• Experience with loan corrections and payroll HRIS integration to maintain IRC 72(p) compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; confident presenting to clients.
• Ability to independently resolve complex issues while managing cross-functional relationships.
• Experience supporting plan conversions by analyzing prior recordkeeper files.

Responsibilities

• Consult with plan sponsors to resolve loan delinquencies and develop action plans.
• Guide internal partners and sponsors through outcomes and next steps; document issues and root causes.
• Support departmental initiatives, process improvements, and system implementations.
