Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Senior Client Service Manager, Relationship Management, to own and nurture retirement plan relationships with large sponsors. You will oversee plan recordkeeping, identify opportunities, and coordinate with internal experts to deliver tailored solutions.

The role emphasizes client retention, satisfaction, and expanding Schwab's client footprint. The position requires deep retirement plan knowledge, exempt from sponsorship, and the ability to travel for client

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience with large, complex employer sponsored Retirement Plans.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• In‑depth knowledge of equity compensation plan administration and retirement plan design.
• Understanding of ERISA, regulatory and legislative processes affecting retirement plans.
• Proven ability to communicate, present, and influence across executives, HR, and finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead 8–10 sizable client relationships and ensure plan administration aligns with provisions.
• Collaborate with partners to delegate and resolve client issues for successful outcomes.
• Build holistic client experiences by addressing all issues and events related to clients.
• Engage subject matter experts to explain investment and plan solutions to clients and consultants.
• Drive client satisfaction and retention, and expand Schwab relationships with assigned clients.
• Travel as needed for client visits and sales presentations.
