Job summary

SPX Technologies seeks a Benefits Specialist III / Retirement & Leave Analyst to oversee U.S. defined contribution and pension obligations, leave programs, and Canadian RRSP integration. You will partner with Fidelity, WTW, HRIS and Payroll to ensure data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and effective employee support.

Apply data-driven analysis, develop reports, and drive process improvements while maintaining governance and timely execution across programs and regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, finance, accounting, analytics, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible benefits administration experience, including meaningful retirement plan experience; leave-of-absence administration experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with U.S. defined contribution plans required; defined benefit/pension plan experience preferred.
• Experience with Canadian retirement programs, RRSPs, mergers and acquisitions, or benefits integrations strongly preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and demonstrated ability to work with large or detailed datasets, perform reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and develop actionable insights.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex benefit or data issues clearly to varied audiences.
• Experience working with benefits vendors and HR technology platforms; experience with Fidelity, WTW, SuccessFactors, and Dayforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day administration and oversight of the organization's leave-of-absence programs and serve as the primary benefits contact for leave processes.
• Coordinate with leave/disability vendors, HR, Payroll, HRIS, employees, and managers to support eligibility, status changes, pay/benefit coordination, and return-to-work processing.
• Monitor vendor performance, service levels, case trends, and employee experience; drive corrective actions where needed.
• Maintain leave procedures, communications, controls, and documentation.
• Analyze leave data to identify trends, cost or process concerns, opportunities for automation, and improvements to program administration.
• Administer and support Canadian retirement programs, with emphasis on RRSP governance, operations, data accuracy, and vendor coordination.
• Lead benefits workstreams for integrating acquired Canadian companies into RRSP, including data review and employee communications.
• Monitor Canadian retirement plan activity and regulatory requirements.
