SRS Distribution - McKinney in McKinney, TX is seeking a Senior Benefits Specialist to lead health and retirement programs. You will design benefit plans, manage the 401(k) program, and coordinate renewal and vendor management while ensuring compliance and reporting accuracy.

Ideal candidates have extensive benefits expertise, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with regulatory frameworks such as ACA, ERISA and COBRA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Deep benefits expertise with focus on reporting, controls, and US 401(k).
• Strong knowledge of ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers' comp, Medicare, OBRA, Social Security and DOL rules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects under deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and plan design knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Serves as strategic expert for US retirement programs.
• Develops and maintains engagement frameworks with Finance, Controllership and Payroll.
• Design and distribute benefits orientations materials.
• Provide employee training on new programs and changes.
• Analyze benefits usage, cost, coverage and trends.
• Forecast costs and assist with new program designs.
• Ensure benefits compliance with regulations and timely reporting.
• Monitor costs and suggest cost containment strategies.
• Research plans and vendors for best value.
• Develop new benefits program designs and communications.
• Coordinate renewal calendars with consultants.
• Distribute enrollment materials and determine eligibility.
• Vendor management for the benefits function.
• Invoicing and premium statement verification.
• Process monthly billings and vouchers for payments.
