Job summary

Sterling Organization is seeking a retail property manager based in Austin, TX to oversee approximately 1 million square feet across TX, AZ, NC and GA. You will direct leasing operations, budgeting, vendor management and center maintenance to maximize asset performance.

Role requires ongoing travel to different centers, strong communication skills, knowledge of shopping center management, and collaboration with acquisitions, construction, accounting, finance and legal teams; Sterling is an equal

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of the shopping center industry.
• Willingness to travel to centers regularly.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assist in billing and collection of rents and charges.
• Collaborate with team to meet leasing and marketing performance objectives.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with contractors and tenants.
• Manage and develop all property personnel.
• Ensure compliance with lease obligations.
• Budget, analyze and forecast property expenses, including capital expenditures.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting for properties, tenants, and vendors.
• Obtain bids from, negotiate with, and supervise outside vendors.
• Oversee property maintenance programs and condition of properties.
• Coordinate with Acquisitions, Dispositions, Construction, Accounting, Finance and Legal departments.
