Job summary

Kennebec Savings Bank is seeking a Senior Retail Operations Specialist to partner with Retail leadership and drive efficient, compliant branch operations across all locations. You will oversee teller and account opening procedures, optimize processes, and support customer-facing systems to improve productivity and the customer experience.

Reporting to the Director of Retail Operations, you will conduct branch audits, manage risk controls, monitor reporting, and lead system upgrades.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with 5+ years in retail banking, including account opening or branch operations.
• Experience with Fiserv systems is desirable and preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) is required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Retail and Operations teams to standardize teller and account opening procedures.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable, risk-conscious improvements for productivity and compliance.
• Serve as SME for deposit operations, account opening, and retail workflows across branches.
• Oversee deposit account processing, card printers, TCRs and other retail systems; support ATM network optimization.
• Lead reporting, branch audits, and security controls; manage user access and system changes.
