Job summary

Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux is seeking a General Manager to lead restaurant operations, develop a strong team, and drive sales and profitability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who sets clear expectations, follows through, and creates an outstanding experience for guests and employees.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience in casual dining; 5 years preferred.
• Previous General Manager experience with responsibility for restaurant operations and financial results.
• Demonstrated success in team development, guest service, sales growth, and cost control.
• Experience managing a high-volume, full-service restaurant with bar operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and retain managers and hourly employees.
• Maintain consistent food quality, service, cleanliness, and hospitality standards.
• Build schedules that support peak business periods and meet labor targets.
• Review sales, guest counts, average checks, discounts, and voids; take action to improve results.
• Manage P&L performance, labor, inventory, food and beverage costs, and other controllable expenses.
• Develop and execute local marketing and community outreach initiatives to grow sales.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety requirements, and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Communicate regularly with ownership about performance, priorities, and action plans.
