Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking a General Manager/Operating Partner to lead our Sterling Heights drive-in, oversee daily operations, and mentor a team of managers and crew. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining standards, and driving performance through strategic planning and cost control.

You will manage staffing, training, scheduling, and compliance with all laws and company policies, including safety and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in managing restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage drive-in operations to deliver guest satisfaction.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, and supervise assistants and staff.
• Forecast labor, food, and inventory to control costs and quality.
• Oversee opening/closing duties, scheduling, and shift coverage.
• Manage vendor performance and implement local marketing plans.
• Maintain records and operational reports; ensure policy compliance.
