Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior Responsible AI & Governance Technical Specialist to lead ethical AI initiatives across engineering, product, and security teams. You will design governance frameworks, assess risks, and embed responsible AI into product lifecycles while aligning with regulatory expectations and SIE’s strategic goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in AI Governance, Responsible AI, or related fields.
• 5+ years leading cross-functional programs with product, engineering, legal, security, and operations teams.
• Strong fluency with modern AI systems including LLMs, agentic architectures, APIs and cloud services.
• Hands-on with agentic AI; familiarity with MCP or similar protocols preferred.
• Experience with AI red teaming or adversarial testing.
• Understanding of agentic and sociotechnical AI risks and mitigations.
• Ability to translate findings into practical controls and guidance.
• Self-driven, capable of delivering across teams with minimal supervision.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; able to navigate ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to long‑term strategies for safe, ethical, and innovative AI products.
• Serve as a technical Responsible AI advisor for generative and agentic AI systems.
• Engage stakeholders to address AI Governance considerations.
• Use governance tools to identify risks and support remediation.
• Experiment with emergent AI capabilities and translate insights to guidance.
• Sit on domain boards and partner with Product and Engineering.
• Conduct ethical risk assessments and advise on mitigations.
• Coordinate with Information Security to align governance with security controls.
• Develop company‑wide best practices and AI literacy materials.
