Job summary

Tenet Healthcare's Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital in Phoenix seeks a Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care to neonatal to geriatric patients, including PFTs, ABG, treadmill testing, and ICU support.

This role trains and mentors staff, participates in discharge planning, and collaborates with physicians to deliver high-quality patient care across complex cases in a busy cardiovascular setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal two year respiratory education program which meets requirements for certification (CRT) and registration (RRT).
• Experience: Two years in Respiratory.
• Licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist in the State of Arizona and CPR. ACLS/PALS and NRP required within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plans and organizes workload; monitors assignments and coordinates workflow with staff.
• Trains and mentors Therapists and staff.
• Administers all modes of routine respiratory care (SVN, IPPB, O2 therapies) and documents care.
• Performs PFT testing, EKGs, and Stress testing; participates in discharge planning.
• Performs diagnostic tests such as spirometry and pulse oximetry; supports age-appropriate care.
