Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist for the night shift at our Arrowhead - Glendale Campus. You will provide pediatric respiratory care to neonates through adolescents and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in high-acuity settings.

The role emphasizes safety, developmentally appropriate care, and ongoing professional growth. Qualifications include a current BLS, NBRC RRT, AZ license (or eligibility), and PALS within 6 months of hire; relocation

Qualifications

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by NBRC.
Arizona Respiratory Care Practitioner license (or eligible).
PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
AARC membership is encouraged and preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely performs diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures according to standards and policies.
Communicates care modalities to patients and families in an understandable manner.
Interprets and communicates patient data to the care team with thorough reports.
Assesses clinical status and recommends courses of action.
Contributes to quality improvement initiatives and maintains documentation.
