Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist for the night shift at our Arrowhead - Glendale Campus. You will provide pediatric respiratory care to neonates through adolescents and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in high-acuity settings.

The role emphasizes safety, developmentally appropriate care, and ongoing professional growth. Qualifications include a current BLS, NBRC RRT, AZ license (or eligibility), and PALS within 6 months of hire; relocation

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by NBRC.
• Arizona Respiratory Care Practitioner license (or eligible).
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
• AARC membership is encouraged and preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely performs diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures according to standards and policies.
• Communicates care modalities to patients and families in an understandable manner.
• Interprets and communicates patient data to the care team with thorough reports.
• Assesses clinical status and recommends courses of action.
• Contributes to quality improvement initiatives and maintains documentation.
