Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital in Phoenix seeks a Respiratory Therapist to provide compassionate care, perform respiratory therapies, precept staff, and support ICU/PACU. The role spans neonatal through geriatric patients and requires teamwork and infection control vigilance.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal two-year respiratory education program meeting CRT/RRT requirements.
• Two years of experience in Respiratory Therapy.
• Licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist in Arizona and CPR; ACLS/PALS/NRP as required within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Plans and organizes workload; supports staff training and mentoring.
• Participates in department decision-making and meetings; adjusts workload as needed.
• Administers routine respiratory care (SVN, IPPB, O2 therapies) and documents progress.
• Performs PFT testing, EKGs, stress testing, and assists discharge planning.
• Performs diagnostic tests such as spirometry and pulse oximetry.
• Other related duties as assigned.
