Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent education/experience.
• Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner License at hire.
• American Heart Association BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP within specified timelines.
• At least 3 years of respiratory therapy in acute care settings.
• 1 year of birth center/labor and delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Support physician with delivery and direction of respiratory therapy.
• Operate and maintain ventilatory support systems and resuscitation devices.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses on patient care plans.
• Mentor students and new hires as needed.

Education

Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy

Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner License

BLS - American Heart Association

ACLS - American Heart Association

PALS - American Heart Association

NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics

AARC preceptor certification

3 years Respiratory Therapist experience in acute care

1 year Birth Center/Labor and Delivery
