Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a Senior Respiratory Therapist for a full-time night shift. The role involves planning and delivering respiratory care, collaborating with physicians and nurses to implement patient plans, and operating ventilatory support and oxygen therapy equipment.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in acute care and obstetric/ birth center experience, plus licensure and certifications.

Competenze

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent education/experience.
• Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner License at hire.
• BLS - American Heart Association at hire.
• ACLS - American Heart Association at hire.
• PALS within 90 days of hire.
• NRP within 90 days of hire.
• AARC Preceptor Certification within 6 months.
• 3 years Respiratory Therapist experience in acute care setting.
• 1 year experience in Birth Center/Labor and Delivery.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with physicians and nurses in planning and implementing the patient plan of care.
• Operate and maintain ventilatory support systems, monitoring and oxygen therapy.
• Assist the physician with the delivery and direction of respiratory therapy.
• May train students and new hires; participate in orientation of unit staff.
• Complete department and unit-specific orientation as mandatory.
