The role requires an NBRC-credentialed RRT, state license, BLS, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Associate degree in respiratory therapy required.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates knowledge in oxygen delivery modes and equipment to achieve adequate oxygenation.
• Administers therapeutic procedures and monitors patient response.
• Initiates and maintains mechanical and non-invasive ventilation.
• Evaluates therapies and makes recommendations for plans of care.
• Documents therapy and communicates with the healthcare team.
• Performs blood gas analysis and interprets results.
• Works independently in patient care areas and uses EMR effectively.
• Follows safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
