Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care.
• Associate's RRT or RRT Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct respiratory care per physician orders and approved protocols.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy and makes recommendations.
• Provides ventilator support and maintains life support equipment.
• Documents therapy and results for hospital, department and regulatory agencies.
• Initiates and monitors respiratory therapies and emergencies as needed.
