Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• RRT or RRT Equivalent credentials required.
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of North Carolina.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor ventilators and life-support equipment.
• Administer prescribed respiratory therapies and assess effectiveness.
• Document therapy results and communicate with the care team.
• Evaluate and adjust treatment plans per protocols.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in all procedures.
• Perform blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Utilize EMR for documentation and care coordination.
• Work independently across care areas and assist colleagues as needed.
