Jerritt Canyon Gold LLC in Elko, NV, seeks a Senior Resource Geologist to lead geological modelling, mineral resource estimation, and block modelling to support mine planning and operations in the U.S. and Mexico.

Use Leapfrog-Geo and Leapfrog-Edge to interpret relationships among mineralization, lithology, and structures; perform QAQC on drillhole data and update resource models. Requires a Bachelor's in Geology and 5 years in mineral resource estimation; up to 10% travel to Mexico; full-time

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Earth Science or a related field with 5 years of mineral resource estimation experience.
3 years in a mining environment with geological modelling, resource modelling and block modelling.
3 years supporting a Geology Exploration team in gold deposits.
3 years supporting a drilling program and QAQC protocols.
Experience preparing mineral resource statements in line with international standards.

Responsibilities

Geological modelling, mineral resource estimation and block modelling to support mine planning and operations.
Develop and update geological models using Leapfrog-Geo and Leapfrog-Edge.
Review and validate resource models for annual/bi‑annual resource statements.
Coordinate with exploration to identify resource extension opportunities and drilling.
Travel up to 10% to Mexico for meetings.
