Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Geologic Modeler to develop and advance fit-for-purpose geological models that support resource growth, mine planning, and operational excellence. The role integrates geological, geophysical, and geochemical data with field observations to deliver high-quality interpretations.

You will collaborate with mine/geology teams, engineers, operations, and data scientists to ensure models meet business needs and timelines, while continuously improving modeling workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, Earth Science, Geological Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to learn commonly used mining software.
• Minimum five (5) years' experience in mining or exploration geology preferred.
• Proficient geologic modeling skills required; Leapfrog Geo preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote Nevada Gold Mines' Journey to Zero safety culture and company values with emphasis in field leadership.
• Deliver high-priority geological model updates on schedule to support business needs.
• Conduct regular field visits to mentor teams and validate geological models.
• Ensure compliance with role responsibilities, annual deliverables, and company standards.
• Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to key stakeholders.
• Work closely with Mine and Resource Geologists to set modeling priorities aligned with operational requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support mine planning and ore recovery.
