Job summary

SLR Consulting (Americas) invites applications for a Resource Geologist/Senior Resource Geologist to join a diverse team of advisory, environmental, engineering, and regulatory professionals. The role focuses on geological modeling, resource estimation, and reporting for metals across various depositional environments.

Responsibilities include Leapfrog-based modeling, resource estimation, QA/QC of geological data, collaboration with engineers, and client support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or Geoscience required.
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience in minerals exploration, operations, or resource estimation.
• Significant experience in geomodelling and domaining in Leapfrog software.
• Practical experience in geostatistics and estimation methods in Leapfrog Edge preferred.
• Experience with drilling data QAQC and CRIRSCO/NI 43-101 reports preferred.
• Professional certifications (P.Geo, CPG, SME‑RM, MMSA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform geological modeling and mineralization domaining in Leapfrog for diverse metals and environments.
• Complete mineral resource estimates in Leapfrog Edge or other software for multiple commodities.
• Conduct geological database quality control analysis.
• Perform statistical evaluation of geological data.
• Collaborate with mining engineers, metallurgists, and other disciplines.
• Prepare project estimates, schedules, and reports.
• Provide client support and presentations.
• Contribute to business development efforts to expand our mining sector.
