Job summary

Justice Resource Institute in Littleton Academy seeks a Senior Residential Supervisor to lead the Residential Department’s team and uphold trauma-informed care for latency-aged students. You will supervise staff, coordinate shifts, and ensure safety and adherence to policies in a 24-hour residential setting.

The role requires supervisory experience in mental health, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility to work evenings, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Residential Department supervision system and ensure timely staff supervision for professional development
• Plan and run shifts to maintain safety of milieu and enforce policies; participate in on-call coverage
• Provide ongoing oversight of scheduling procedures and maintain staffing ratios
• Support safety and well-being of students and coordinate with clinical staff
• Lead residential meetings and trainings with staff to promote quality care

Are you the Senior Residential Supervisor we have been looking for? In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by leading a dynamic team and bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our students!

Littleton Academy is a residential treatment setting for latency-aged students that specializes in trauma informed care. Littleton provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $22.50 to $33.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.

Due to the nature of our work and the youth who are depending on us, there are times where overtime may be mandated.

• YOU will be able to assist in overseeing our Residential Department’s supervision system ensure all staff receive appropriate and timely supervisions to help promote professional development.
• YOU will be able to plan and run shifts to ensure safety of milieu and all policies are followed as well as participate in rotating on call coverage.
• YOU will be able to provide constant oversight of scheduling procedures, and ensure that staffing ratios are met at all times.
• YOU will be able to support all efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
• YOU will support staff and programming by leading residential meetings and trainings.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Residential program or mental health facility experience required.
• Supervisory experience in Mental Health facility required.
• Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting students is required.
• Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.
• At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our students!
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.
