Job summary

Brinks Home in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Lead Alarm & Certified Security Professional to design and install customized security systems, visit customer sites, and work with our care team to ensure all needs are met.

The role requires 5+ years of residential alarm experience, proficiency with panel brands (Qolsys, Honeywell, DSC, Concord 4, DMP, 2GIG, Ademco), strong problem-solving, and willingness to work at heights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential alarm installation experience.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to high-quality results.
• HS Diploma or GED and valid driver’s license.
• Willing to climb ladders and work in tight spaces (crawlspaces, attics, basements).

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites for walkthroughs and system design.
• Install and test equipment; ensure proper functionality and signal verification.
• Replace/install components: add-ons, conversions, takeovers, new installs, and service.
• Maintain inventory records from job to job.
• Identify opportunities to improve system functionality and provide recommendations.
• Keep workspaces clean, safe, and organized; maintain fleet vehicle.
