Job summary

Jewish Community Services in the United States seeks an experienced Residential Program Lead to oversee operations within our Disabilities Services program, focusing on quality, compliance, and client-centered care.

You will supervise House Managers and DSPs, coordinate medical care, and develop policies to maintain high service standards, with regular staff training and responsible budgeting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years supervisory experience in residential settings for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of DDA regulations and service planning.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Jewish cultural, religious, or ethical values a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support House Managers and DSPs, ensuring adequate coverage and staffing cost control.
• Oversee service delivery with adherence to state and federal regulations (DDA/COMAR).
• Conduct staff supervision, training, and performance evaluations.
• Manage residential program budgets, petty cash, and grocery allowances.
• Build rapport with staff through a visible presence in homes.
• Coordinate medical appointments and medication administration.
• Develop policies, procedures, and quality assurance systems.
• Provide emergency and weekend coverage guidance for after-hours staff.
