Jewish Family & Children's Service of Greater Boston is seeking a Residential Program Coordinator to support adults with disabilities in community residential settings. You will assist with health, safety, and independence while collaborating with the manager on administrative tasks.

The role requires prior experience with individuals with disabilities, strong communication, and a compassionate, adaptable mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities in a residential setting.
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with adults with disabilities.
• Collaborative team player eager to join a supportive, engaged team.
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathetic listening.
• Flexible and adaptive to clients' day-to-day needs.
• Clear verbal and written communication; ability to write daily notes.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass CPR, Basic First Aid, and Medication Administration Program certification.
• Ability to pass a national background check.
• Valid driver''s license.

Responsibilities

• Teach and support independent living skills including personal care, nutrition, communication, social events, and community celebrations.
• Promote health by taking clients to medical appointments, monitoring symptoms, administering medications.
• Learn and apply redirection, conflict resolution, and de-escalation methods as needed.
• Assist the manager to coordinate client care including medical/medication management, skill development, and social/recreational activities.
• Complete assigned paperwork to meet DDS regulations regarding service planning, as well as medical and financial management.
