Job summary

People Inc. in Buffalo, NY seeks a program supervisor to oversee residential supports, ensuring high quality care within HCBS guidelines and a home-like environment. You will coordinate staffing, training, and communications across sites and collaborates with the medical team.

The role requires on-site presence evenings and weekends, strong leadership, and ability to manage budgets, records, and person-centered plans. We offer generous PTO, insurances, tuition reimbursement, and career mentoring.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Human Services or related field with 1 year of experience.
• Completion of agency Management Training or enrollment.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Must meet physical requirements including lifting 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residential program meets regulatory requirements and HCBS guidelines.
• Coordinate human resources, recruitment, training, IT, and property management needs.
• Oversee medical care with the medical coordinator and RN.
• Staffing: supervise, recruit, retain to meet service needs.
• Train and develop staff to improve quality of care.
• Ensure timely, confidential record keeping for persons served and staff.
• On-site evenings, overnights, weekends; available 24 hours for emergencies.
• Participate in committees, meetings, and training as required.
• Adhere to Senior Residential Manual and agency policies.
