Parsons is seeking a Sr Resident Engineer to join the Hudson Tunnel project in NY/NJ, overseeing utilities coordination, safety, and regulatory compliance for a mega infrastructure effort. You will manage capital improvements in water and sewer facilities, directing staff and coordinating with PMs, contractors, and agencies to meet cost and schedule goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and/or Construction Management; Master’s preferred
• Minimum of 10 years experience in Construction Contract Administration
• EIT certification; PE registration in NJ preferred
• Familiarity with geotechnical software such as LPILE, GROUP, FB-MultiPier, Slope-W, Seep-W, DeepEx, Plaxis, Settle3D
• Familiarity with AASHTO, NJDOT and Amtrak standards

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily construction activities and Resident Engineering inspection responsibilities
• Conduct technical reviews of construction plans, specifications, and project changes for constructability
• Ensure staff safety, regulatory compliance, permit adherence, and coordination with regulatory agencies
• Monitor contractor performance, schedule adherence, and overall project effectiveness
• Influence contractors to meet project objectives on cost, schedule, and quality
• Administer contractor payments and recommend adjustments based on completed work
• Demonstrate strong communication to guide progress and facilitate meetings with contractors and agencies
