Qualifikationen

• Must have 15+ years in highway/bridge/rail construction mgmt.
• Bachelor's in Engineering, civil preferred.
• CT Professional Engineer license or reciprocity (CCM may be accepted).
• Ability to supervise staff and manage schedules/budgets.
• Ability to review shop drawings and permits.

Aufgaben

• Lead construction management team and chair meetings; prepare minutes.
• Monitor contractor performance, schedule, quality control.
• Issue non-compliance notices and see them to resolution.
• Review daily inspection reports and payment quantities per specs.
• Prepare change orders for overruns and other work.
• Coordinate with designer on submittals, RFIs, shop drawings.
• Promote safety culture and ensure permit compliance.
• Communicate with the public about impacts of work.
• Collaborate with engineers and authorities on projects.
