WSP is seeking a Construction Inspector based out of the Glastonbury, CT office to help oversee highway, bridge, and rail construction projects across Connecticut. The Inspector will report to the Resident Engineer/Chief Inspector and assist in various inspection activities with a focus on safety and accuracy.
Qualifications include a BS in Engineering/Construction Management or NICET 2/CMIT Level 3 per CTDOT, plus 1 year (2 years with NICET 2/CMIT 3) of inspection experience.

Depending on experience, the Inspector will oversee work such as roadway paving, excavation, backfill, drainage, traffic control, bridge structural steel and rebar placement, concrete pours, pile driving, utility installation, and other related activities. The inspector will report to the Resident Engineer/Chief Inspector or their designee.
