Job summary

Bon Appetit is seeking a Resident District Manager to lead a large multi-unit dining account in the San Francisco area. You will serve as the client liaison, guide the on-site team, and steer the operation toward financial and service excellence.

Responsibilities include managing profitability, safety, and employee engagement, while coordinating with district leadership and supporting cross-functional areas. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of management experience preferred in foodservice or related field.
• Strong leadership, customer service, and financial acumen.
• Excellent communication, initiative and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage a large multi-unit dining account and lead the on-site team.
• Serve as primary client contact and drive operational excellence.
• Develop and implement plans to achieve profitability, safety, and engagement KPIs.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the account.
• Ensure compliance with policies, audits, and USDA regulations as applicable.
• Represent the brand in district/community events and relationships.
