Job summary

Quaise Energy, Inc. is seeking a Lead Reservoir Engineer to design and test reservoir concepts for Enhanced Geothermal Systems (EGS).

You will work with drilling, power plant design, and geology teams to transform analytical models into field-ready designs and guide uncertainty testing. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in reservoir engineering, strong integration of geoscience data, and a track record in subsurface evaluation from concept through drilling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in petroleum, mechanical, chemical engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant reservoir engineering experience; 10+ years in geoscience preferred.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience leading exploration or subsurface evaluation programs from concept to drilling or appraisal.

Responsibilities

• Lead reservoir simulations to evaluate design scenarios and power plant design criteria.
• Advise on diagnostic programs including pressure transient tests and DFITs.
• Review data to assess reservoir properties, fracture behavior, and well performance.
• Provide input on location selection and wellbore targeting based on models.
• Deliver technical recommendations to asset teams for optimization and injection management.
• Promote consistent diagnostic standards across projects.
