Job summary

Quaise Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Drilling Engineer to translate subsurface objectives into field-ready drilling plans and cost estimates. You will design wells, assess risks, and ensure operations run safely and efficiently across field sites.

You will collaborate with geology, reservoir, land, and EHS teams, travel to drilling sites as needed, and adapt conventional practices to high-temperature geothermal applications while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; 8+ years drilling experience.
• Experience in drilling programs, casing and cementing designs.
• Experience in geothermal, oil & gas, or subsurface industries.
• Professional Engineer registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop properly engineered drilling programs, procedures, and cost estimates.
• Lead technical planning for wells, including design and risk assessment.
• Coordinate field operations support and pre-job planning activities.
• Ensure EHS compliance and safe execution in all operations.
