Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a Senior Research Analyst based in one of our U.S. offices (Washington DC, New York City, or Chicago) to support primary research engagements.

You will design questionnaires, manage fieldwork, and deliver data-driven insights for client projects across complex business issues. You will work closely with senior researchers, develop client presentations, and mentor junior team members while traveling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in primary research (quant & qual).
• Experience managing full lifecycle of research projects (setup to delivery).
• Experience with survey programming and data analysis tools (e.g., Qualtrics, SPSS, Displayr).
• Interest in AI/tools to support research development with validation of outputs.

Responsibilities

• Develop questionnaires and discussion guides; refine outputs with senior team.
• Oversee day-to-day execution of primary research projects; coordinate timelines and fieldwork.
• Identify key themes and insights; translate findings into client-ready narratives.
