Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a Senior Research Analyst based in New York, Washington, DC, or Chicago, joining the Corporate Positioning & Insights practice to support primary research engagements.

You will develop questionnaires, manage fieldwork, analyze findings and present data-driven stories to clients, while mentoring junior teammates and coordinating with senior staff on larger, global projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience conducting primary research using quantitative and qualitative methodologies, with emphasis on quantitative experience.
• Experience overseeing research projects from setup through completion, including timelines, fieldwork, and quality control.
• Experience with survey programming, tabulation, and analytical platforms (Qualtrics, Forsta/Decipher, Q, SPSS, Displayr) or similar tools.
• Interest in using AI and other tools to support research development and efficiency, with judgment to review AI-generated outputs.

Responsibilities

• Develop questionnaires, discussion guides, analysis plans and other research materials with senior team input.
• Manage day-to-day execution of primary research projects, timelines, fieldwork, and vendors.
• Identify key insights, trends and implications to meet research objectives.
• Create client presentations and reports that translate findings into data-driven stories.
