FTI Consulting is seeking a Research Analyst based in Washington, DC or New York, joining the Corporate Positioning & Insights practice to support the execution and analysis of primary research engagements. Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional experience in primary research or market insights.
• Experience with survey projects including questionnaire development, testing, fieldwork, data cleaning, tabulation and analysis.
• Experience with survey programming and research platforms such as Qualtrics, Forsta/Decipher, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Support development of primary research materials, including questionnaires, discussion guides, and other research instruments.
• Assist in preparing survey specifications, including sample quotas, banner plans, table stubs, and analysis requirements.
• Support day-to-day execution of research projects, including survey fielding, link testing, vendor coordination, focus group logistics, timeline tracking, and quality control.
• Develop drafts of project materials and deliverables, including PowerPoint presentations, toplines, data tables, and written summaries of findings.
• Review survey data, tabulations, and research outputs for accuracy and consistency.
• Support focus groups and in-depth interviews, including preparation, note taking, analysis, and development of findings.
• Assist senior team members with project management across larger and more complex research engagements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of research processes, tools, and methodologies.
