Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin's Texas Materials Institute is seeking a Senior Administrative Associate for Research to provide comprehensive administrative and financial support across the sponsored-project lifecycle.

You will coordinate proposals, manage budgets, assist with reporting and compliance, and support travel and procurement activities for faculty and researchers at UT Austin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of administrative or financial experience.
• High School Diploma or GED with at least seven years of experience.
• Experience with budgets, purchasing, reimbursements, or account reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sponsored research proposals and administrative documentation.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures, and account balances.
• Prepare monthly grant financial reports for faculty.
• Process purchasing, vendor payments, reimbursements, and tuition.
• Manage ProCard transactions and related documentation.
