Job summary

Best Buy in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Repair Agent to lead a team of repair technicians, perform high quality repairs on consumer electronics and appliances, and guide work‑in‑progress repairs. You will diagnose, order parts, install repairs and ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience facilitating training on diagnosing and repairing consumer electronics and/or appliances.
• Minimum 9 months of experience diagnosing and repairing consumer electronics and/or appliances.
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Drives a positive customer experience by building relationships and providing solutions to needs.
• Leads a team of repair agents, provides work direction, and leads repair training for a specific product category.
• Diagnoses, orders, and installs product and parts for repair.
• Contacts customers with quotes for repair and answers questions regarding cost, installation, and operation.
• Completes routine functionality and quality testing on all products.
• Partners with Team Assistants and Repair Agents to manage WIP repairs.
