Job summary

Best Buy in Tracy, CA is seeking a Senior Repair Agent to perform high-quality repairs on consumer electronics and appliances, lead a team of repair agents, and manage WIP repairs. The role includes training others and handling cost quotes for repairs in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment.

You will diagnose issues, order parts, and install replacements, while ensuring quality tests and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience facilitating training on diagnosing and repairing consumer electronics and/or appliances.
• 9 months of experience diagnosing and repairing consumer electronics and/or appliances.
• Preferred: Certification in Consumer Electronics or Appliance Repair

Responsibilities

• Drives a positive customer experience by building relationships and providing solutions to needs.
• Leads a team of repair agents, provides work direction, and leads repair training for a product category.
• Diagnoses, orders, and installs product and parts for repair.
• Contacts customers with quotes for repair and answers questions regarding cost, installation, and operation.
• Completes routine functionality and quality testing on products.
• Partners with Team Assistants and Repair Agents to manage work-in-progress (WIP) repairs.
