Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Repair Agent to perform high quality repairs on consumer electronics and appliances and to educate customers on product repairs. The role emphasizes delivering a positive customer experience, accurate diagnostics, and effective communication within a team environment.

The Repair Agent will diagnose, order, and install repairs, quote customers on costs, and conduct routine testing to ensure product functionality.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience diagnosing and repairing consumer electronics and/or appliances.
• Able to stand and sit for long periods.
• Able to lift weight up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Drives a positive customer experience by building relationships and providing solutions to their needs.
• Diagnoses, orders, and makes installations for product repairs.
• Contacts customers with quotes for repairs and answers questions regarding cost, product installation, and operation.
• Completes routine functionality and quality testing on all products.
• Partners with colleagues and leaders to manage work-in-process (WIP) repairs.
