Job summary

Power Factors seeks an experienced Project Manager to coordinate internal and external resources for utility-scale SCADA projects primarily in North America. You will oversee projects from sales through commissioning, ensuring smooth handoffs between teams and serving as the main client contact for SCADA systems across renewable energy sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in renewables, engineering, project management, community development, planning.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar project management role.
• Background in renewable energy, power systems, or SCADA integration.
• Understanding of power grids and renewable infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Jira, and Google Workspace tools.
• Proficiency with AI tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and enforce SCADA project execution plans, from sales to commissioning.
• Own project timelines, deliverables, invoicing milestones, and closure.
• Maintain daily client communication and ensure timely follow-up on requests.
• Adopt and enforce company processes and project/task management tools.
• Collaborate with clients to define and clarify scope, deliverables, and milestones.
• Maintain and update project plans, focusing on billing and timelines.
• Work closely with technical managers, engineers, subcontractors, and regional stakeholders.
• Plan and monitor internal workflows and resource allocations.
• Oversee handoffs to support teams and evaluate project outcomes.
• Define scope of work, develop statements of work, task breakdowns, and milestone plans.
• Coordinate comprehensive and accurate project documentation.
• Participate in coordination meetings, presenting status updates and resolving issues.
• Identify project risks, assumptions, and constraints, and develop mitigation plans.
• Identify and manage out-of-scope tasks, and lead change order execution.
• Ensure quality assurance across all project deliverables.
• Maintain and manage project resourcing and profitability.
• Enforce HSE standards when teams are onsite.
