Job summary

Meta’s Global Energy Team seeks an experienced energy professional to manage renewable energy and carbon-reduction contracts across construction, development, and operations. You will oversee contract compliance, support negotiations, monitor project performance and coordinate amendments, while maintaining contract documents and data.

You will drive cost and REC performance, coordinate with legal, finance, and other stakeholders, and apply AI-enabled workflows to optimize contract operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, energy or environmental science, paralegal studies or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in energy contract management, energy project development, or energy operations.
• Experience managing renewable energy projects and understanding performance metrics.
• Experience drafting correspondence and building partnerships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Experience with G-Suite, Salesforce, AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the ongoing owner for all of Meta's operational renewable energy contract requirements.
• Create, maintain and track documents and data related to renewable energy projects.
• Track counterparty compliance with contract deliverables.
• Review invoicing and reporting to ensure REC, cost and performance alignment.
• Coordinate contract amendments, collateral and force majeure claims as needed.
• Manage approval and signature process for contract documents after execution.
• Surface and resolve issues in contracts and project operations.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, accounting, purchasing and other stakeholders.
