Avangrid's Northwestern U.S. team in Portland seeks a Senior Business Developer to grow a portfolio of wind, solar and energy storage projects, conducting feasibility studies and market analysis. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
5+ years’ experience in energy project development or real estate acquisitions.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Proven experience in contract negotiation and project management.

Responsibilities

Support and/or manage site development of wind, solar and energy storage projects including establishment of site control, permitting of project sites, and management of community relations.
Support project acquisition efforts including due diligence on potential acquisitions and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements.
Be a key point of contact for project stakeholders, including landowners and local county officials.
Identify new business opportunities and work with internal technical support teams.
Adhere to internal controls, including project development budgets, schedules, and updates for senior management.
